Bluestone CEO Mitchell Daitz

Mitchell Daitz
Chief Executive Officer

Mitchell Daitz is Bluestone Chief Executive Officer and Operating Partner at WindRose Health Investors advising and serving on the Board of several of the firm’s technology-enabled healthcare services businesses, including Bluestone where he has been the Board Chair since 2022.

Throughout his career, Mitchell has distinguished himself as an architect and builder of organizations focused on bringing innovative healthcare services to the marketplace. He was co-founder, CEO and Executive Chairman of Vital Decisions, an organization dedicated to ensuring that the care of individuals experiencing a serious illness aligns with their values and changing preferences throughout every step of their health journey.

Prior to Vital Decisions, he was co-founder and CEO of IntrinsiQ Research, a leading oncology electronic medical record and information company acquired by a private equity firm in 2006 and now a business unit of Amerisource Bergen. He was also the President of Datamonitor, Inc., an international healthcare market advisory firm, and management consultant with Deloitte Consulting.

Nicole Beauvais, PA-C, MMS, MPH
Senior Vice President of Clinical Operations

Nicole Beauvais joined Bluestone Physician Services in 2022 as Senior VP of Clinical Operations. Her role includes overseeing the organization’s electronic health record and training programs, clinical support teams, and process improvement initiatives.

Nicole has been a licensed physician assistant (P.A.) for more than 20 years and has focused on medically complex patients, multi-disciplinary care delivery, healthcare equity, and quality improvement. Prior to joining Bluestone, she worked for several years at M Health Fairview (University of MN’s health system), most recently having served as their system Vice President of Quality and Health Equity. Previously, she worked at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, both in quality improvement and in operations. Nicole has a passion for healthcare quality and is a six sigma black belt, and she believes strongly in patient-centered, inclusive care.

In her spare time, Nicole enjoys spending time with her family, distance running, playing her violin or oboe, or exploring new restaurants.

Andrea Fuhrmannek-Kloubec, MPH
Vice President of Corporate Compliance, Compliance Officer

Andrea Fuhrmannek-Kloubec (Andi) is Vice President of Corporate Compliance. She is an operator at her core and brings compliance, privacy and revenue cycle perspectives to Bluestone Physician Services through the lens of a regulator, investigator and auditor.

Most recently, Andrea was interim Chief Compliance Officer for Hennepin County Healthcare (HCMC) where she was a member of the Executive Leadership Team and accountable for creating the organization-wide compliance strategy for the hospital, clinics, home care, hospice, research and revenue cycle.

Prior to HCMC, Andrea served as Compliance Officer at Park Nicollet and Hutchinson Healthcare. She also served in healthcare roles as directors of health care Business Office, Information Technology, HR, Credentialing, Admissions, Chargemaster (CDM), Telehealth Coordinator and Regulatory Change Management.

Andrea has served as a board member for Medicare Skilled Nursing Facilities and Assisted Living Facilities. She has also served on Joint Commission, Det Norske Veritas (DNV), Safety and Quality Committees. She is a contributor to industry publications and speaker at the regional Health Care Compliance Association of Corporate Compliance and Ethics (HCCA) Association.

Andrea enjoys spending time with her husband, nieces and nephews. Her favorite activities include reading, cross country skiing, water skiing, running and spending time on the lake.

Brian Holsten, MS, SHRM-SCP
Chief Human Resources Officer

Brian Holsten possesses 30+ years of Human Resources experience across a variety of industries, including hi-tech, med-device, pharmaceutical, financial services and insurance.

Prior to joining Bluestone Physician Services in 2020, Brian was the VP of Human Resources for Perforce Software, Inc., where he led the global HR function for this enterprise software company. This included oversight of talent acquisition, total rewards, employee relations, M&A, HR technology and global payroll.

Brian has also used his extensive HR experience to teach undergraduate courses as an adjunct professor at Bethel University in St. Paul, MN.

In his spare time, Brian enjoys running, downhill skiing and a variety of other wellness activities.

Nate Hunkins, MPH
Senior Vice President of Value-Based Care
Executive Officer – Bluestone ACO

Nate Hunkins is Senior Vice President of Value-Based Care (VBC) and the Executive Director of Bluestone’s Medicare Shared Savings Accountable Care Organization (ACO). He is accountable for the success of Bluestone’s value-based care strategy and oversees VBC contracts and collaborates across departments to help Bluestone deliver great outcomes to patients and health plans, and meet its financial performance commitments and growth aspirations. Under Nate’s leadership, his team works to identify and design utilization management opportunities, implement Bluestone’s risk adjustment strategy, develop economic models to bolster VBC interventions, manage VBC programs, quality measurement, and create reporting tools that enhance decision-making across the company.      

Before joining Bluestone in 2016, Nate was the Manager of Business and Systems Development for MN Community Measurement, a nonprofit accelerating the improvement of health by publicly reporting health care information. In this role, he developed healthcare quality measures and designed data collection systems for major government agencies and nonprofits in the healthcare industry.  

In his spare time, Nate enjoys going on adventures with his wife and two daughters. Together they spend time fishing, camping, hiking and short trips in their “not so new” RV named Prince Charming. Nate is an avid Minnesota sports fan, which means he only watches when they are winning.

Ray Keller, MBARay Keller
Chief Financial Officer

Ray joined Bluestone Physician Services as Chief Financial Officer in March 2025. He is responsible for overseeing our administrative, financial, risk management strategy and care coordination operations to support our ambition to grow Bluestone to serve even more patients living with complex, chronic conditions.

Ray has diverse experience in finance, product and operations roles that span the manufacturing, financial and healthcare industries. He spent 18 years at UnitedHealth Group in both payer- and provider-centric roles including finance and operations leader for the Medicare, Regulatory, and Care Delivery businesses.

Most recently Ray led operations and finance at a Minnesota-based value-based physician practice where he was an executive leader overseeing finance, reporting, technology, revenue cycle, facility management, growth and operations.

In his spare time, Ray aims to live a healthy lifestyle by maintaining a consistent exercise regimen, and enjoys spending weekends at the lake, refurbishing real estate properties, and spending quality time with his family and dog Rory.

Alisha Miller
Vice President of Care Coordination

Alisha Miller joined Bluestone in July 2025 as Vice President of Care Coordination. Alisha leads the team dedicated to delivering exceptional care coordination services for people across Minnesota who are members of several health plans. She is responsible for setting the strategic direction, managing key relationships with our health plan partners, and ensuring the highest standards of quality of care and compliance.

Alisha is an accomplished healthcare leader with more than 15 years of experience in building strong teams, improving quality outcomes, and driving strategic growth. She comes to us from HealtheMed, a company that provides home and community-based services to people with disabilities, where she spearheaded significant growth. At Lifespark, she spent time in operations, leading initiatives to increase home health admissions and hospice census. And at Allina Health, she led home health operations, and also worked to expand access to mental health and addiction services.

Alisha lives in the Twin Cities metro area with her husband Scott and their two teens: 15 and 13. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling with her family, walking and hiking outdoors, cheering for her kids at their sporting events — basketball, baseball, softball, football, volleyball, and skiing — and catching up with friends on a nice patio.

Emily Roesing, MBA
Senior Vice President of GrowthEmily Roesing

Emily joined Bluestone Physician Services in June 2025 and is responsible for our growth and marketing strategy, including team-based primary care for patients in senior living communities, dementia care management offering to health plans and for our ACO value-based care managed service offering to physician groups. She is a healthcare product leader with a passion for advancing new payment and delivery models and brings more than 15 years of experience spanning value-based care, incentive design, and health technology.

Most recently, Emily served as VP of Product at Clarify Health Solutions, where she led the go-to-market strategy and product management for the company’s physician incentive platform focused on specialist referral and site of service optimization.

Previously, Emily was the first employee and VP of Point of Care Solutions at Embedded Healthcare, a Gates-backed startup co-founded by Drs. Amol Navathe and Zeke Emanuel focused on bringing behavioral economics into physician workflows. She scaled the company from concept to acquisition, building a cross-functional team and growing revenue through innovative physician engagement strategies.

Emily believes strongly in the power of psychology and user design to transform how healthcare is delivered and is committed to making the right thing the easy thing when possible. Her work has been featured in Harvard Business Review, and she has served as a speaker and expert panelist on healthcare value and payment reform. Her earlier roles include positions at Catalyst for Payment Reform, Jiff, Kaiser Permanente, and Deloitte Consulting.

Outside of work, Emily enjoys her close-knit neighborhood, tennis, fitness, painting, and a good TV show, in the little time she has outside of raising her two young kids.

Jessie Waks, MSN, APRN, GNP-BC
Senior Vice President, Head of Primary Care

Jessie joined Bluestone Physician Services as a Nurse Practitioner in 2009. Her experience in Critical Care and Hospice drew her to Bluestone’s innovative care model, where she could serve complex and vulnerable patients in the community setting.

Now with Bluestone for over a decade, Jessie has played an integral role in the expansion of Bluestone’s model of care. Provider on-boarding, advancement and education are a few of the many programs she has spearheaded in her tenure. Through her leadership, Bluestone has trained over 125 Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant students in conjunction with local universities. Her passion for quality patient care and provider excellence is clear to everyone, both in and out of Bluestone.

In her spare time, Jessie can be found doing anything (especially active) with her daughters, running up mountains, or traveling to anywhere Jack Johnson is performing.
