Team O’Gara

Josephine O’Gara, M.D.
"I have always considered practicing medicine to be an honor and a privilege. Taking care of elderly patients can offer unique clinical challenges—managing complex medical problems and long lists of medications, recognizing atypical presentations of illness, knowing when to stop investigations and offer comfort care and advocating for a group of patients whose voice is not always heard. Bluestone is a unique opportunity because it allows the patient to be seen in their home environment, encouraging collaboration between caregivers and families to provide comprehensive and compassionate care. I look forward to truly knowing, respecting and understanding the individuals and families that I care for. —Dr. O’Gara- Board Certified, Internal Medicine
